Hi, my name is Gina Bucci and I only write about myself in the FIRST person. ("Jim's an incredible artist..." Oh shut-up, everyone knows it's you).
I'm an independent director, writer, producer and reporter based in Toronto. I recently graduated from the Director's Lab at The Canadian Film Centre (CFC) as well. Currently I am celebrating my seventh year in media and I am developing a couple of short films and my first feature comedy under my production company - Boochie Productions.
Phew, I need a vacation STAT!
So, take a look around and enjoy some of the short films and on camera stuff I’ve made recently. I am still assembling more footage from over the years to put up, so please check back when you can…
Watch history being made right here people. US Secretary of State Hillary-Badass-Clinton gave one heck of a historical speech at the UN in Geneva, during this week’s International Human Rights Day. The US finally tied the fair treatment and decriminalization of homosexuality in hostile countries to foreign aid they receive from them and other cool things like assisting LGBTs with asylum, etc.
My latest video – a PSA for the Canadian Copyright Collective places in the Top 3 (a fancy way of saying “third” actually). They held a contest called The Reel Challenge. I don’t really care where the video placed, I’m just glad people liked it.
I went down to the CBC studios on Friday and had a little chat with Connect’s Host, Mark Kelley. He’s a bigger hockey fan than a soccer nut but fun to talk to nonetheless. Haha, that sounds so elitist of me. Yay! I’m a soccer snob.
